Estimating the global impact of rotavirus vaccines on child mortality

A recent study titled ‘Estimating the global impact of rotavirus vaccines on child mortality‘ was published in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases. The study concluded that rotavirus vaccines have made a valuable contribution to global public health. Researchers stated that “enhanced rotavirus mortality prevention strategies are needed in countries with high mortality in under-5-year-old children”.
