Combining forces in Cambodia to overcome childhood diarrhea and pneumonia
Through an integrated approach to community health, Cambodia is addressing diarrhea and pneumonia, two of the biggest threats to child health. This fact sheet provides an overview of PATH’s work in Cambodia to integrate diarrhea and pneumonia control. At the national level, the Cambodia Ministry of Health strengthened policy to ensure that effective interventions and appropriate and reliable supplies are available throughout the public- and private-health sectors. A district-level demonstration project put policy into practice and is informing expansion throughout the country.
